Operations & Communications Associate

After 15 years of turning wine lovers into winemakers in Argentina (, the Vines of Mendoza has launched Vines Global  (, a venture-backed, wine-focused luxury hospitality company. This exciting new company will enable its members to travel the world, enjoy curated local experiences in top wine regions and make their own custom wines. They might produce a Brunello di Montalcino in the heart of Tuscany one year, a Pinot Noir in Oregon or New Zealand the next, and a Grenache in Spain or a Rosé in Provence after that.

Vines Global is looking for an Operations & Communications Associate to:
  • coordinate our remote team
  • manage operations and logistics for member and sales events in the US and Europe
  • create presentations for internal meetings
  • manage CRM
  • track financial transactions
  • draft and send member communications 
The Operations & Communications Associate should:
  • be a flexible self-starter and enjoy working both independently and with the remote team
  • have excellent communication skills and creativity
  • have at least 5 years experience in operations and administration, and a bachelor´s degree or graduate degree in business or related field
Project management experience and the ability to communicate in multiple languages are a strong plus.

You will learn about the industry in the top wine regions around the world, and also get an inside view of a high-end membership organization and luxury event planning. We regularly get together with our members in various locations across the globe, and you’ll often be a part of those experiences.

We prefer candidates that have experience in consulting firms, startups, or political campaigns, can communicate in multiple languages, and love unforgettable travel experiences. You should not be afraid to jump in and get your hands dirty -- and of course, you must enjoy great wine! 
As the office is virtual, you can live just about anywhere you like and must be a flexible self-starter who enjoys working both independently and with a team. Email, Slack, Zoom, and phone calls are our lifeblood. 
You’ll use the in-person time you have with the team at retreats to build relationships, and you’ll then use those relationships to coordinate and manage the work that the distributed team does. You’ll also have contact with our high net-worth members, building relationships with them in order to develop a strong referral base. 
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.

Since 2004 The Vines has been teaching wine lovers to successfully craft top-rated wines in Argentina’s most celebrated wine region, the Uco Valley of Mendoza. Now Vines Global, a new membership club, will enable them to make their own wines and have highly curated local experiences in 12 epic wine regions throughout the world.
